Sleep Beautifully, Breath Effortlessly
Sleep Guard
At the heart of the issue
For millions of people sleep isn’t peaceful, it’s a fight to breath. Sleep Apnea causes the body to stop breathing during rest, leaving people exhausted and at risk.
Despite how common it is, many avoid treatment because the solution can often feel worse than the condition.
Healing the experience
Sleep Guard is a modern, portable sleep apnea machine designed to blend naturally into any space. Its smaller size and comfortable mask prioritizes both function and aesthetics.
It is more than a medical device, it’s a shift in how we think about care. By focusing on comfort, design, and confidence, it turns a nightly burden into something people can embrace without shame.
30 million people in the U.S. alone are affected by Sleep Apnea
Over 50% of people with Sleep Apnea don’t seek treatment
Designing for wear.
Designing for wear.
Sleep apnea treatment has long been defined by compromise: bulky machines, uncomfortable masks, and a constant reminder of illness sitting by the bedside.
Thinking Through Sketch
Digital Workshopping
Before building Sleep Guard I wanted to bring it to life in Rhino3D, where I could explore the form, proportions and function in a digital space. This allowed me to define details and visualize how the final product would look in the real world.

From the beginning, this project was about more than just function. It was about dignity. By combining thoughtful ergonomics, refined aesthetics and human-centered design Sleep Guard turns a medical necessity into a natural part of everyday life, something that blends in rather than stands out, and supports users without judgment or discomfort.
In the end, Sleep Guard isn’t just a product, it’s a statement. It proves that healthcare devices can be beautiful, empowering and stigma-free and that good design has the power to restore not only rest, but confidence. With Sleep Guard, people no longer have to choose between their health and their dignity, they can finally have both.
